It's pathetic the way Wall Street and other businesses are running to build AI prisons...a set of controls for the future overseers...digging freedom's grave.
An earlier wave of this was the IT revolution, which was supposed to improve productivity (measurement of revenue per employee), but didn't. All that maneuver accomplished was eliminating layers of good management jobs and replacing them with a burgeoning IT department.
Interestingly, some historians (e.g., George Friedman founder of STRATFOR) think that the orgasm of technocracy emerging out of WWII and the nuclear age is coming to an end.
The best sign will be when a normal person, with no ties to Harvard or Yale, possibly not even a lawyer, is appointed to the SCOTUS.
Meanwhile, it's willy-nilly to AI-based servitude. If we're lucky, maybe UFOs will seize these convenient controls and not Xi or Zero or "P" who controls Soros.
