It's not hatred of religion. It's hatred of Christianity.
Hollywood is actually quite tolerant of all other religions.
Islam, Buddhism, atheism, Wicca, paganism, shamanism, New Age woo-woo spirituality, and of course, Judaism. All are treated with respect.
It's Christ alone who offends.
I would say it's the people who believe that they despise.

A few might, but most of those whom I know have no love for it either, and that even includes a few people of Jewish heritage, I‘m sorry to say. Sad, but true😔
After all, Judaism could be called the „parent“ of Christianity, that goes especially for its very high ethical and moral standards.
