Awesome accomplishment to send a craft 238,000 miles to the moon! …Still Interesting that we haven’t gotten a man further than 380 miles since 1972.?.? 🤔

Yeah, you can thank the Democrat Party and its obsession with race-politics for that. They destroyed NASA.

At least you FINALLY admit that we got MEN to the Moon in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Congratulations!

I was just out looking at the near full moon, and said out loud, “Damn good shot”

I was an 8th grader when I saw the last Apollo mission go up.

It was a night launch in December ‘72, we saw it from the banks of the Intracoastal Waterway, next to the bridge, in Ormond Beach.

Very cool.

I was a grade school NASA groupie from Gemini on, built models of the rockets, had a lunar globe and a telescope.

The Saturn V model was as tall as I was, with separate stages, the LEM module held the LEM and opened up like an alligator.

Everyone watched all the launches then and recoveries, we saw the Apollo 8 X-mas broadcasts live from lunar orbit when the crew read from Genesis.

Different era, different country.
