To whom it may concern,

This letter serves as a formal cease and desist demand regarding the use of Laz A. Mataz's trademarked business slogan, "I'd hit it." My client observed you employing this trademarked slogan on a website called 'FreeRepublic.com" on 3/3/2024. This behavior is in violation of applicable Federal trademark law regarding trademarks set forth in (15 U.S.C. § 1125(a)).

We hereby demand that you immediately cease and desist from posting the phrase "I'd hit it." Failure to comply with this demand will result in further legal action, including but not limited to civil action and monetary damages.

Please be advised that we are prepared to take all necessary steps to protect our rights and interests.

We expect your prompt attention to this matter. Please provide written confirmation that you have ceased and desisted from the aforementioned activities by 3/17/2024.
