France has become the first country in the world to make abortion a guaranteed right for women in its constitution.
The bill was approved in an overwhelming 780-72 vote, and nearly the entire joint session stood in a long-standing ovation during the historic joint session of the lower and upper houses of the French parliament at the Palace of Versailles.
There were jubilant scenes of celebration all over France as women's rights activists hailed the measure promised by President Emmanuel Macron following a rollback of abortion rights in court rulings in the United States.
Abortion rights activists gathered in central Paris cheered and applauded as the Eiffel Tower scintillated in the background and displayed the message 'MyBodyMyChoice' as the result of the vote was announced on a giant screen.
President Emmanuel Macron described the move as 'French pride' that had sent a 'universal message'.
Abortion rights are more widely accepted in France than in the US and many other countries, with polls showing around 80 per cent of French people back the fact that abortion is legal.

I recommend you favor positive ideas instead. Like helping our allies defend themselves against the Kremlin-mass-murderering invaders attacking the Christians in Ukraine. It’s time to respect our Christian values against the Neo-soviet-folly. They get massive help from Communist North Korea and the Islamic State of Iran.
Israel has just announced they will provide Ukraine with high-tech early defense warning systems.
Europe is giving twice as much compared to what America has previously been lending / giving to Ukraine.
Argentina’s new right wing president Milei is sending Helicopters to help Kiev, and he has declared that Russia’s BRICS is a communist organization.
But... right now... a few anti-God hippies in Congress have decided to abandon Israel and Ukraine - two strong allies of America we have signed agreements with.

And in a lighter note the Kansas City Royals have the 2nd best spring training record in baseball so far at 8-3. Maybe they can finish better than 56-106 like they did last year.

More Americans are affected by abortion rights than in France.
France is just one state. In America abortion is legal in about 28 states and/or places like Hawaii, Puerto Rico etc.., it’s even allowed in Florida which is a
Republican stronghold (as long as the fetus is less than 15 weeks).
Abortion between 6-18 weeks is allowed in 7 states.
As a comparison : In France abortion is banned after 14 weeks.
On mainland America:
Abortion “after conception” is banned in 14 states.

The thing is, just like in America which is at times run by Conservatives or Liberals, France has to endure the same process. Sometimes it’s left, sometimes it’s right.
It’s easier in China, Russia, North Korea, where there are just banana-republic-like elections. Their respective deep-state government people decides who wins in advance, systematically.
Thus, the “president” (the apparatchik) is elected and reelected for ever, until he dies.
There is no sense of competition in those countries. And that’s very lazy. They don’t need to campaign, nor defend their ideas.. They are just de facto reelected, no matter what. Those countries are like aristocracies.
In aristocratic / neo-soviet Russia of today, just to be safe, the Kremlin has doubled down even further: thus, every true opposition leader is either assassinated, killed, or eliminated. So there are some choices...
The lucky ones are being sent to Gulags so they can rot there for a couple of years before they die.
Putin has not much to do. Laziness... He just makes a speech to the nation once a year, and dictates what the government-controlled media must say. He is presiding of a big-Government on steroids.
Trump though... he has to fight like hell, non-stop, day in day out, 7 days out of 7 in order to win over the hearts and minds of the American people. And that massive effort finally seems to pay off - since Trump is now ahead in the national polls with about 5%. He will win. Winning thanks to massive efforts.
Putin will win with 80% doing what? Nothing. Maybe he is thinking about how to make another “nuclear-attack-speech” on America and the West? But that’s boring, he has done such speeches non-stop since the war started.
