If the restaurant posted that it had a no refunds, no exceptions if cancelled less than 48 hours prior policy, then it should have been allowed to keep the $250.

I committed to a 4 week trip to Europe literally 2 days before Covid hit. Many of the reservations I made were no refund. I didn’t get my money back. Why should he?

What screed? The owner of the restaurant is the one who posted a screed. He just used his travel insurance when he was hit with a $150.00 cancellation fee when he could not make the reservation because he was in the hospital.

I’ve read reviews posted prior to this and the owner gets very snarky and downright hostile to any criticism.

I despise having to pay upfront for any service.

Recently, I broke my vow to never do it again-my wife coerced me into putting down a deposit and tomorrow will be two weeks without hearing peep one from the idiot.
