Would you support this ??

He also jokingly has a poll as who would you like to see as leader (Thune, Cornyn or Rand Paul)

Well, he can run. But he stands about as much chance of being elected to the post as I do. Perhaps less.

I would love to see Rand on the Federal Reserve, preferably the chair. Him auditing the Fed would be something he’d do with a passion. And it’s something that’d unite both the libertarian leaning and conservative leaning people in the Republican Party (thought not the unipartiers).

Would I support this?

Of course. But I’m not a Republican Senator, so that’s irrelevant. This constant effort to insert the square peg of the FR Imaginary Republican Party into the round hole of the Actually Existing GOP is getting exhausting.

The senate has a way of churning out establishment Rinos when it comes to leadership positions.

“ The senate has a way of churning out establishment Rinos when it comes to leadership positions.”

The Senate Republican caucus has an overwhelming majority of those people. Pro tip: Those are the real, actual Republicans. If you want to know what the GOP is all about, study Cornyn and Thune.

Wake up.

There is no politician that I agree with 100% of the time (including Trump)...having said that, I would totally support Rand Paul’s run for Republican Leadership in the Senate.

I have doubts that enough Senators would endorse Paul.

Cornyn would be a huge mistake...would be “Mitch 2.0” - and Thune would only be slightly less appetizing...

It’s been days since Mitch said he’s leaving.

The GOP should be filling this void in half a day.

Imagine if Trump had the same opinion as you. Too exhausting, wont happen, why bother.

It should be Paul, as that Minority Leader position will likely (God willing) become Majority Leader in a few months and he's the most financially responsible person there.

He'd be the Black Knight in the way of the pork-barrelers, saying "None shall pass (without justification)".
