Britt, despite this week’s criticism, is considered a “rising star” in the Republican Party. She was the youngest woman elected into the upper chamber after getting sworn in last year.

The first-term senator is also thought to be in contention to be picked as former President Trump’s vice presidential pick. Trump praised her rebuttal, stating she distinguished herself and presented compassion for “women’s issues.”

Think she was always a striver.

She was in the military where she did the same thing: demand promos and power cuz XX chromosome.

And the way to do that was to be a Good Girl and run errands for the Thug State.

Bingo. Britt is a lightweight who leveraged McConnell’s dark money and the churchy persona to smear and eventually defeat a solid conservative who had one of the highest voting records with Trump in the house.

Mo Brooks was a Freedom Caucus member and a solid NO vote for McConnell’s reelection as Speaker. McConnell needed a puppet and Shelby’s former chief of staff was the perfect patsy.

Good memory!

I’m glad she blew it then.

The Uniparty haven’t a clue when it comes to picking candidates despite the claims we get it wrong and their desire to interfere in primaries.

Recent posts around here about “The Stepford Wives” caused me to re-watch that movie, last night.

The movie hasn’t aged well. In the end, the only one I found myself rooting for was the dog.

Bull crap. She’s a Ukraine funding queen, avoids Trump like the plague and hasn’t said anything about the 2020 election being stolen, and she’s McConnell’s girl. She’s the Proto typical post turtle. Silent on the J6 hostages. Utterly on qualified for her job.

Wow, that cringeworthy performance warrants a VP slot?! Is the bar that low?

Unnamed sources from the Hill warrants a consideration as being real news?

Is the bar that low for real news sources?

No women for VP. Trump needs a strong man who will be able to lead MAGA after his term ends.

Female politicians are always RINOs because they have already become unconservative by not staying home and submitting to their husbands as scripture commands.

“Anyway looks like she blew it (for now)”

She’s blown a lot of things, I would guess.

What do you think they’re pushing for DR?

I’m glad she flopped. She’ll be in the Senate for 40 years though.

If Shelby and The Turtle like her, she is a RINO and not to be trusted.

Not only did they like her they picked her!

She was a staff member for Shelby and they managed to get her through that primary.

"VP??? Do not think she is ready..."

She never held public office before, worked as a lawyer, and has only been in the Senate a little over a year. Even though I love President Trump, I wouldn't hold my nose and vote for that team. I'd sit home in November. I don't want any part of that woman being a heartbeat away from the Presidency.

"Two years in the Senate"

It hasn't been that long. She only took office in January 2023.

Do not know. They obviously were pimping her for a vice president slot. Every time we get a decent candidate, the GOP saddles them with a pence, a bush, or something. She’s a Chamber of Commerce globalist shill.
She’s nothing but an Alabama social climber, making connections etc. Never held her actual job in her life that wasn’t solely based on connections. And her first elected office was US senator? It’s a joke

I know this sounds crazy but it is possible this was the Turtle’s revenge—he knew she would be a disaster and was ticked he was removed from leadership?

Is he that clever? Not sure.

The Hill trying to rile up conservatives with this garbage.

Conservatives? LOL!

Conservatism is whatever Trump says it is.
