As some have said, it is a "reductio ad absurdum" en masse in that people's behavior and belief systems have not just drifted in the general direction of the ridiculous but have gone full-throttle bizarre.
There's something at work in our country that is more than just ideology. It is more like mass psychosis.
And it isn't just our country. Canada and Europe have the same disease.
I have a friend whose wife the oth day stated the exact same thing. I told her to go re-read American history from 1609 to now. Tyranny will always rear its ugly head when people ge too comfortable.
