His motion got denied, FYI, by a judge he himself appointed. Even she can’t get around the clear and simple language of the Presidential Records Act, that Trump has been clearly lying about. I’m not going to support blatant lies, no matter who they’re coming from. Neither should you.
He may eventually win this case on another technicality, or the gross comparison of Hillary and Biden not being prosecuted for similar transgressions, but since we all said “lock her up” etc on those cases, we shouldn’t now say Trump didn’t do something wrong himself. He may not deserve jail, since they got away with it, but that should be his defense, not lies about what the laws say.
