A man has been banned from all Buc-ee’s locations for life after bringing his “service duck” along for a jaunt around the store.

Circus performer Justin Wood and his online celebrity duck Wrinkle filmed their latest adventure at the world’s largest Buc-ee’s in Sevierville, Tennessee.

A circus performer captured a video of the moments when he was allegedly banned from Buc-ee's for life for bringing his service duck inside.

The duo were allowed to go on their way once Wood presents IDs proving Wrinkle is a service animal, but shortly after another employee approaches.

“Even if it’s considered a service animal, you have to be able to contain it, and it can fly out,” the employee says in the video, gesturing to the stroller.

After buying water bottles and greeting a few customers, Wood and Wrinkle leave the store only to be confronted by police notifying the pair that they’re banned from all Buc-ee’s locations for life.

“If you’re caught on property and everything you’ll be charged with trespassing,” the officer tells him.

Wood was also asked to purchase a toy that Wrinkle was seen biting inside the store, and he gave the store $50 to cover the cost.

“She did nothing but make everybody happy in there,” Wood said in the video. Indeed, even the officer who gave him the news of the ban wanted to learn more about the duck. At one point, he even feeds Wrinkle a treat.

The service animal policy on the Buc-ee’s website states: “The Health Code prohibits live animals, including dogs, where food could potentially be contaminated. There are exceptions, however, for service animals.”

Buc-ee’s did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

He should have caged the duck when he was there.
He might have been allowed to have it, by putting it in a knapsack and letting its head out of it.

I once brought my small dog, I had at the time. I put him in a knapsack and covered him with a newspaper. The LRT enforcement didn’t realize what I did.

It won't be the largest soon... Buc-Ee's is building the largest in Ocala FL.

Ha! Is it a rule that the next built has to be bigger than the previous so every store can boast the honor at least for a few months?

Lots of a$$holes started bringing their “emotional support animals” on airlines a few years ago I was on a flight where some little ankle biter no doubt some a-hole’s “emotional support animal” ran down the isle and pissed on the floor a couple of seats ahead of me (Southwest).

The election of Trump made millions of people lose their minds and turn to any and all coping mechanisms. They have since resolved to never let such an election happen again.

I’ve been reading that they plan to build a Buc-ees in San Marcos. They already have one in New Braunfels. 18 MILES AWAY.

Sheesh.

The article says he’s a circus performer. In other words, this was a stunt.

He is casting a bad light on real disabled people with real needs for a service animal.

I hope they make 10,000 Buc-ee's in the USA.

We could use a few up here in the Northeast.

I heard they have 800 different types of beef jerky!

I wonder how Buc-ee’s would feel about my service ostrich.

I loved seeing that big goose in WaWa, Ontario Canada.
We took several fly in remote fishing camp trips years ago with kids grand kids. Highly recommend Watson’s and their Kaby and Pine Portage lodges on opposite ends of beautifu huge lake Kabinakagami. Fresh shore lunches of just caught walleye and Northern Pike, cooked in a choice of 5 ways at shore lunch stations located on wind swept points of islands around the lake. Employ a guide if you prefer who cleans and cooks the fish he guides you to or if experienced, use their big tote shore lunch kits.
Breakfasts and dinner at the lodges, housekeeping for your cabins. Boats motors Bair available. Priceless memories. We did the 6 day unwinder package 3x. Electric fence around the perimeter to minimize bear attacks.

He did it just so he could have a huge meal, then point to the duck and say “put it on his bill!”

One cannot toilet-train a duck. My little sister had a pet duck, we know all about the issues.

The questions you are permitted to ask:

(1) Is the service animal required because of a disability?

(2) What work or task has the service animal been trained to perform?

Service animals are specifically trained.

Emotional support animals are there to do just that...provide emotional support.

If either becomes unruly or is not the the control and custody of the owner, it can be removed. The law allows it.

Other than guide dogs for blind folks, this “service animal” stuff is BS.

Agreed.

However, there are service animals for the Deaf and for people with other serious, life threatening medical conditions, like seizures and diabetes. Those fall into the legitimate service animal category that Guide Dogs do.

Emotional support animals should require certified owner training and a license for the animal.

What kind of a clown pulls a stunt like this?

The quacking on the inside kind, I guess.

He just wanted to get it all on tape.
