Seeking an appeal bond may be obstructed, but if there were any real problem, it would certainly seem possible he could mortgage out of state properties. That would raise cash.
If all his properties are already mortgaged, that should not create a problem given increases in value since any original mortgage.
It is a big number to raise, but this won’t be a show stopper. This was always going to be the timeframe when legal issues would come to a head.
What I don’t think the Swamp has realized is these legal realities will attract more, not fewer, voters.
I'm pretty sure the lien holder on the properties will have a big say in what the AG can and can't do. The lien holder will likely go to court to stop her. They aren't going to get paid and they don't want to take over the building.
I wonder how that would work out since much of the case is based on the presumed value of the property.

The term “Kangaroo court” can be applied to the entire N.Y. legal system. Anyone who sells a house or anything, really, wants to get top dollar. If I set a price on something and someone agrees to buy the object, or I want to use it for collateral, and agreement is made, what business is it for the Gov.? I agree with many others.
