An 18-year-old transgender woman has pleaded guilty to the brutal murder of a 12-year-old girl she allegedly had a sexual relationship with.
Ash Cooper will spend at least 15 years in prison after she admitted to the shooting death of Morgan Connors in the trailer she shared with her father in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, in November 2022.
Police say the teen called a female friend on Instagram video after the murder and showed off Connors' body covered in blood and asked for help disposing of it.
When she was arrested Cooper reportedly told cops the murder was an accident and that and she was sorry and scared of going to jail for the rest of his life.
Cooper was initially charged as Joshua Cooper but began transitioning after her arrest, with her lawyer asking the court to call her Ash.
The teen claimed she had been cleaning out her dad's safe and going through his guns and ammo before Connors was dropped off at her house. She claimed her dad removed the safe's battery which enabled the combination lock.
Cooper, who was 16 at the time of the murder, also allegedly told police she and Connors were in a sexual relationship.
'It’s a horrible tragedy,' said Bucks County Court Judge Jeffrey L. Finley. 'A tragedy no family should ever have to undergo.'
Police were called to the murder scene a woman called 911 saying her daughter had received a video call from Cooper, who said he had killed someone before he flipped the camera and showed Connors' bloody legs and feet.
According to court documents, Connors was found laying facedown with her pants around her ankles and a gunshot to the back.
Her cause of death was a single gunshot wound to the neck and upper chest area.

So, Coopers was 16 and having sex with a 12 year old girls and one day shot her to death. After being arrested he started transitioning as a way to get off easier. I think that’s what happened. The story is written horribly as usual. I don’t think that there are any people in the news industry that are actually literate and can carry out a logical thought process. These stories always have to be parsed out to be figured out.

They have blood on their hands. Several weeks ago a girl went missing in our area of the county. Her car was found by a local canoe landing with personal affects. They dragged the river and did drone searches for several days. The media covered the story and issued an apology because she was a transing male. Discovered her body in the river several days ago. Such a waste they pump hormones into a young person and block others and expect them to be normal.
Instead of trans we just need to say, “a male dressing as a female.”

I wonder if HE decided to call himself a “she” after the arrest? That would help him avoid being in a men’s prison. I have to assume being in a women’s prison will be easier and safer.

His tranny transition, which started post-arrest, sounds like a ploy to evade punishment. In a just world, he’d have a date with Old Sparky and an unmarked grave.
Pedophile rapist-murderer would be correct as to the crime committed. As a so-called man, he raped a young girl which means he’s a heterosexual. Transitioning is both a way out of a men’s prison which he might not survive and a way into a women’s prison where he hopes to continue his heterosexual activities.
“Transitioning” has nothing to do with any of the crimes he committed and should not be considered as a factor in sentencing. The article should’ve been about the 12 year-old victim, not about the criminal’s gender game.
