A babysitter is accused of throwing boiling water over a three-year-old girl and fatally smashing her head into a bath.
Iesha Harris, 30, was charged with murder and first-degree child abuse after autistic toddler Harmoni Henderson was found dead on Monday.
Harmoni's mother Paris England left her at Harris home in Detroit overnight, as she was a trusted family friend who often looked after the little girl.
But instead of watching her, Harris locked her in a room with her own one-year-old daughter and smoked marijuana for three hours with friends.
Harris allegedly admitted to detectives that she poured scalding hot water over her face and head to clean her off.
She then allegedly smashed the toddler's head into the side of a bathtub, assistant prosecutor Jennifer Douglas said.
England video-called Harris for an update and was shown Harmoni in bed and told she fell down the stairs and bumped her head but was fine.
'From my knowledge, it was just a fall down the stairs – that she just missed her step, and that's all it was. She told me everything was OK,' England said.
'I seen her through the video chat, she was OK.'

So much of this sort of thing happening these days. That poor little baby. Prayers up for her mother’s comfort and strength and may the Lord be holding that beautiful child in His arms now.
I’ve often wondered if situations like this is why wealthy people such as Hollywood types support illegal immigration.

Yes, definitely yes. When reading the headline of this thread it brought back such memories. As a little boy in the backyard with my Mom we watched this lady chasing a little boy with a small bucket of water. My Mom said it was scalding hot water that she was going to throw on the little boy.
Truly mean demented people exist in all races and quarters of society. Our leftist leaders have us believing that men are the masters of torturing their children. As with this thread’s case and the story I told it was women. Women are capable of the same evils, it’s just that our society somehow overlooks this.
