Those darn accidents! Anyone ever hear what the crew said happened? You know the Master of the ship was Ukrainian. Ever think he might be an ethnic Russian from one of the new Russian Oblasts who just might have a four year old Ukrainian passport? I guess we’ll never know. We can’t ask or talk about the crew and what they claim happened. I know, shut up and watch the video. The experts will tell me what they think happened.

This I believe.
The Oklahoma courthouse bombing saved the Clinton reelection because of his speeches promising aid and promising to catch the culprits.
Bush 2 did the same thing

Name of bridge- Francis Scott Key (wrote U.S.A. national anthem), followed by the FIB immediately, (within hours), insisting that this was not terrorism, makes one think this might be terrorism?

🤔

Until more than Tin Foil tabloid reporting shows otherwise I'd say it was catastrophic equipment failure within the ship. In this case it ended in a collision. We are talking about a 1000 ft long ship loaded with freight not a runabout on a lake. The ship has ONE Two Stroke Deisel Engine for propulsion. The ship has a crew of 22 sailors. A ship the size of an aircraft carrier has 22 crewmembers and heavily relies on automation or onboard remote operation what can go wrong?

I went through a number of the main generators tripping off line back in the day. The shop that manned the emergency generators had about a dozen men working in it. They kept a 24/7 watch at sea. About 30 men {guesstimate} maintained the ships main generators which IIRC was 5 or so. They stood watch on each one underway.

I watched two different videos of the collision one was speeded up as the vehicles on the bridge were way too fast vs distance. The ship had two Captains and the Harbor Pilot {Pilot worked for Port Authority} on the Bridge. My guess would be the power outages also messed with the control of the engine from the Bridge. There is about 20 second or more before impact where dark smoke is coming from the stack before impact. My guess is a Full Speed Astern order was given to try to slow the ship and change it's course. An act in futility as close as they were at their speed which has been said to be 5-8 knots. A ship that size will travel several thousand ft before completely stopping even at that speed. I doubt during the blackouts they had rudder control. Navy ships have manual backups and again a watch 24/7 underway in the steering machinery rooms.

My point being of all that was going on during the mayhem likely only 5-6 men if that had the experience and qualifications to respond to the problems. Did I say this ship only had a crew of 22? Shipping companies have been gambling for years betting a catastrophic failure would not occur during transit in port in a busy channel or even at sea. A dangerous bet to make.

This seem ridiculous, yes, it’s more inconvenient to go around Baltimore on the west side, but that’s maybe an additional hour of driving, it hardly “split the country”.
Anybody who says that have never opened a map.

What a darned coincidence 🤔 that the ship loses power seconds before it veers into the critical support junction of that bridge which causes immediate collapse.

The Chinese can put up a 1 km.steel pontoon bridge in 28 minutes. What’s this about a port out of action for months? Just make a swinging pontoon bridge...

I have only viewed film from the first couple hours of coverage.

To my eye, it looked like the sharp edge of the ship bow hit the piling supports straight on, at full speed, and dead center.

The odds of that happening without steering the ship directly at the pilings seem very low.

Not proof - but deliberate sabotage was definitely my first impression.

I want to hear from the Pilot. He would have been on the bridge of the ship the entire time.

The “Harbor” Master was in charge of the ship at the time it hit the bridge support column.

He was not an employee of the owner of the vessel.

Don’t get all hyped up.

Probably never know but a cyber attack on a ship that took over at an exact moment that guided the ship into a bridge structure that would collapse the bridge... I’m not buying it.

“Multiple intelligence sources”: that hook has lost its worm. After being assured by multiple intelligence sources, some of whom were even bold enough to publish their names, that Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation or that the Russia-gate scandal was real, I automatically assume that whatever follows that phrase is complete garbage.

And how many of those very same intel “sources” proclaimed the hunter laptop to be Russian disinformation and that Trump was in Putin’s pocket.

Sounds like they are trying to give joe an opening for who knows what.

If that bridge was so strategic then why weren’t the pilings surrounded by protective bulkheads?

See Oakland California bridge collapse in 1989. Republicans GHWB and Deukmejian got the ball rolling on the rebuilding project slowed by new safety reinforcement standards. Various bridges and other freeway structures not in the immediate collapse were closed and demolished/rebuilt.

The “MASTER” of the ship is NOT in CHARGE when ship is entering/leaving ports.

There are “PILOTS” in EVERY port that are in charge during those times.

The complete loss of power-—2 VISIBLE times -—troubles me the most.

Many CYBER ATTACKS are happening all over.
