My favorite Lou Gossett movie was “Skin Game” with Jim Garner. It was funny but also introspective. RIP Lou. Your achievements will live on film for decades.

Yes, I agree it was in part a romance. I just preferred the military part.

The roles in “Officer” and “Iron Eagle” were my favorites.

Now we must fly the missing man formation for him.

That’s Scatman Crothers. Gossett was Officer and a Gentleman.

Two thoughts...
— His experience driving in LA is good to consider the next time you watch happy-face reruns of “Adam 12.”
— Be honest... the best scene in An Officer and a Gentleman is when he kicked Richard Gere in the balls.

That was a good character in The Shining. The movie scared the crap out of me.
I was around 7 when I saw it.

Those creepy girls and the naked lady turning old…

I know not Mr. Gosset’s politics as he never expressed them and this is good. I knew his ability as an actor. He was outstanding in his films. “Officer and a Gentleman” was great. However, “Enemy Mine” was his greatest. I am sadden by his passing. He was a hell of an actor.
