We should NEVER call it “gender-affirming care”. That is the exact opposite of what it is. Mutilation is not “gender-affirming”.
I think gender-affirming care would be getting psychological help to help a person accept the gender he or she was born with.

Excellent point. Remember when it was called “sex”? Like, are you male or female? Then the homo agenda started using “gender”, and it all went downhill from there.
