Paul McCartney is singing his praises for Beyoncé’s vers

ion of “Blackbird.”

The music legend on Thursday wrote on his Instagram page that he’s “so happy” with the Grammy-winner’s cover of the 1968 Beatles track that is included on her newly released “Act II: Cowboy Carter” album, under the slightly revised title “Blackbiird.”

“I

think she does a magnificent version of it and it reinforces the civil rights message that inspired me to write the song in the first place,” he wrote. He went on to “urge anyone who has not heard it yet to check it out.”

So, I take it if you don’t like chocolate ice cream and one of your friends does, they have to hear about how much you hate it?

I never understand why people open a thread about an artist or musician they hate just to jeer and complain, when they know many others love that person’s work. No one makes you read about them.

Because it wasn’t not in any interview about it or any discussion... ever. Until this old fart comes up with something from his early catalog of competent song writing to be recorded by a nothing singer— for the money (which he produced). All about money- the song has nothing to do with black rights. It is about a blackbird which sings in the night. Period. Goodbye.

So recording of original song is sampling that must be paid to McCartney and (Lennon’s estate) within that publishing, that’s one load of cash, second is the broadcast royalties— again to the writer(s) and third if somehow McCartney “sold” some percent in his own song— beyonce gets that. There are many layers to this BS cash machine this no longer famous and yet fabulously still wealthy writer- Paul McCartney, with his many estates, oil wells, investment banking vehicles. Fake as hell for his producing this “artiste” to generate millions for himself. When he was married to the Kodak heiress he never took any racial stance, and this was 20 years after writing Blackbird.
