Is there a gentleman’s agreement to not have the colleges compete with the NFL on game days? Saturdays are for college but the NFL encroaches on Sundays. I wouldn’t mind seeing some decent college games on Tue/Wed. Even Thursday when you have to pay extra for Amazon Prime.
It’s not a gentleman’s agreement, it’s a law that pro football cannot play on Saturday due to college football. It’s part of the antitrust exemption.
When all of the kneeling for the anthem was happening I was hoping congress would revoke the anti-trust exemption.
