In Nepal in 1982, they gnawed on branches of the poinsettia bush to brush their teeth.

They had the teeth of the average British folk. Think Austin Powers.

I remember using a Dr. West’s toothbrush as young boy in the 1950s.

At a young age, it would have helped to learn from a dentist:
“I want you to think about cleaning your teeth, while you ‘brush your teeth.’”

Geo. Washington didn’t have wooden teeth.
A sassafrass shoot was a popular toothbrush for ages, and still works great!

I remember using Ipana Toothpaste in the 50's. Bucky Beaver was its spokesperson.

Any mention of flossing?
I always hated it, could not get my fingers in there.
Then came along the guy that I hope got filthy rich with the patent, the “reach” flossing gizmo.
Transformed me into a nightly flosser.

My grand parents had tooth powder in the late seventies. Crest I think. It was fun using it for some reason.
