Israel is a person. Not a political entity. There’s zero Christian necessity to love Israel 1948 edition, and plenty of good reasons to find fault.
The old covenants were provisional, awaiting the one final and eternal covenant in Jesus Christ. There are not two covenants, one for the Jews and one for the gentiles. All are called to union with God through Jesus Christ.
