What difference does the date of the original ban matter? Arizona Republican legislators in the Year of Our Lord 2024 support it.
FWIW here in MI we had the same thing, a complete abortion ban from 1931 defaulted from the SCOTUS ruling. So the pro-abortion no limits crowd went ballistic in a very short time and gathered enough signatures to get it on the ballot in the fall.
And of course the female turnout was especially high and now abortion is enshrined in the state constitution. Other bad news is that our state legislature and state senate turned blue for the first time in decades because of the extra voters.
The only fragment of good news is that this proposal was a one-shot deal that brought many to the polls who would not vote anyway, majority female. The GenZ males can’t stand their female counterpoints as we all know about and that generation largely won’t turn out for Xiden.
Being “smart” is STANDING for life, not squatting with the DUmocrats.....the only reason it’s an issue with they are winning on is because RINO pukes have surrendered.

Life and the MEANS to protect it are central...surrender those and you are no better than the democrats who consider life so disposable you would ensure that everyone is a slave.
