Fred Goldman always gave me the impression that his grief was for his son ( as opposed to his daughter) being killed.
Not “my child” but “my son” like Kim would not have mattered as much.
Maybe you should write and instruction manual on how to properly grieve for a murdered child while making sure no one doubts you would be just as torn up if it was another child.
