A CNN contributor sparked outrage on Thursday after saying that OJ Simpson “represented something for the black community … particularly because there were two white people who had been killed.”
Ashley Allison made the comment during the network’s coverage of the death of the 76-year-old Simpson, the disgraced NFL legend who was acquitted in 1995 of the murders of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ron Goldman.
Allison was weighing in on the racial tensions that pervaded the country during the Simpson trial and its aftermath.
She said the Simpson case brought to the fore “just how black Americans feel about policing.”
He wasn’t a social justice leader, but he represented something for the black community in that moment, in that trial, particularly because there were two white people who had been killed,” Allison said.
“And the history around how black people have been persecuted during slavery.”
Allison’s commentary sparked a backlash, with one X user remarking: “Absolutely unhinged racism.”
“They’re continuing to say the quiet part out loud,” another X commenter wrote.

this might sound crazy, but black women are angry because of their hair...what they go thru to try to make it look like white womens hair is unreal. Also, notice you hardly ever see shampoo commercials with white women anymore. Bottom line is..white women are more beautiful, kleener looking. Flame all you want but its the truth.
maybe the most galling thing about the Simpson fiasco is that of all black men to rally around, blacks chose that guy. I mean, the guy was already in serious “has-been” territory when that happened. He hated people of his own race, he couldnt wait to dump his black wife and kids for the 19 year old blonde beach bunny. Anyway, he gets in trouble, the blacks rally to his side, he gets aquitted, and he dumps them all over again and runs back to his little “white world” that he just loved. Played em all for fools...
And the White CCN bobbleheads just sit there and nod. What a bunch of spineless pathetic sheep.

I was in a bar in Miami late one afternoon and who should walk in but OJ Simpson with what appeared to be a golfing buddy. The reaction by the women in the bar was universal loathing. It was nothing short of a miracle that OJ didn’t get shot or stabbed as he made the rounds of the single women present.
In 20 years it will be very interesting which minority group has fared better. My money is on th Hispanic community.
They need to BLAME THE DEMOCRATS FOR RUINING THEM...THEIR FAMILY, THEIR SCHOOLS, THEIR CITIES, ETC.
Black hair takes more work and time to look great... that’s true. On the other hand white people don’t care about ‘cultural appropriation’ so black women ‘in a hurry’ can just buy a wig or ten wigs and not worry about it.
Ironically, if the victims had been black, it wouldn’t have even been a story. I doubt he would have been arrested.
