Even Taco Bell’s Chief Marketing Officer finds the food at the beloved fast-food chain to be “life-changing.” Taylor Montgomery has been with the franchise for more than eight years, and he recently revealed that he eats Taco Bell “every other day.”
At Live Más LIVE, the company’s first-ever superfan convention, the CMO told Business Insider that he even orders the same thing every time.
“Two to three crunchy tacos — not supreme, just regular crunchy tacos,” he told the outlet. “And a bean burrito with extra onions, grilled." “You have to try it, it’s life-changing,” Montgomery urged.

So the CEO thinks the worst, cheapest thing on their menu is life changing?
Mine has the $5 box on the menu.
Over the counter.
Corn yellow. No longer in many markets.
I grab a quick, cheap bite there around twice a week.
$2.20 for a Stacker makes a quick lunch at my age. Kind of a beef quesidella with cheese and spicy aioli.
LOVE crunchy Taco Supremes. Love bean burritos without onions. Love Love Vegetarian Pizza. Love cinnamon crisps.
Don’t get them more than once a month, but it’s a great treat when I do.
Got addicted to TB in CA in 1969. Thrilled when they came east. Avoid every other Mexican food outlet. There was one in Cambridge near MIT that spoiled me for anything else.

In the mid 70s, I used to stop in at Taco Bell after I got off work, on my way to a friend (who had a TRS-80 computer!)
I would get two bean burritos with green sauce instead of red sauce, and extra onions, and a meximelt, all for less than a buck.
These days that same meal now costs over $10.00.
Of course, I could get gas for less than a buck a gallon back then as well.
At the restaurant?
I’m jealous - at least two have blown me off with the app thing
And a third hasn’t had it in st least 3 years
Fresh off the tree? 😆. Yellowish like any other tortilla chip.
Crunchy Taco was 33 cents in 1978 in my area
If you can get a time machine I need to go back - avoid a few things
Thanks in advance - literally
sorta
(Love bean burritos without onions.)
Thank you 👍👍👍
How do you know this if you never eat it?
Must be your franchise owner. It’s on the drive thru menu here.
I can’t eat that much at once anymore.
That makes me think of an April Fools newscast from the 1950s (I didn't see it when it was initially broadcast) showing women in Switzerland or Italy harvesting spaghetti from spaghetti trees.
Whatever you order from Taco Bell, you might as well put directly into your toilet before taking a bite.
You may be correct
I’ll try a couple other of the restaurants in case there’s a chance
Raised in Chicago which wasn’t onion-centered. Shocked when we moved East and there were onions EVERYWHERE!
Went to an Uno’s when it opened here and didn’t quite recognize the flavor. The owner explained that people here were so much more onion-oriented that they had to change the original Chicago recipe from dried onions to fresh onions for MA.
Well, I used to work there when I was a teen. they were much better back then. I know that was long ago but I tried them not too many years ago because of being bored with everyhting else, and I found everything I ordered needed to be thrown away because it all sucked... Bad. The menu items were all pretty stupid and very poorly prepared. It was like they just didn’t care about the quality of their food.
Love the taste but like them diced really small or cooked extensively
TGI Fridays had a GREAT chicken dinner with caramelized onions and au gratin potatoes
The 🧅 onions were just a dab but terrific
Yeah, 20+ years ago
