After World War II, thousands of GIs came home with European or Asian brides.
We saw the same pattern in Korea and Vietnam. The pattern of fraternizing with local women did not happen during the 20 years of Middle Eastern and Southwest Asian wars. The Muslim culture is just too different and Muslims of any stripe do not like Westerners. After 45 years of an Islamic state in Iran, the dissidents have either fled or are deeply underground. Any idea of a so called color revolution is fantasy.
