Older video - not sure why this is all over social media now. I’ve been to his shows, he does not talk Biden…but he will talk social issues… not for long times but when introducing a song. Then he’ll deliver the goods. He’s always done this. Don’t go if you can’t listen to his views.
When was his last “hit?” 35 years ago?
Mellonhead went from 18,000 seat arenas to 2,500 to 4,000 seat theatre’s mostly because of his political rants drove fans away. Shut up and sing Johnny Cougar, that’s what fans want.

We are Deeply Saddened!
It’s too bad. He and Springsteen were such talented writers and impassioned souls, but they sold out and succumbed to the dollar, brainwashed by adoring media and proximity to corporate and political power.
One more individual living with the broken excuse that someone else is to blame for his problems.

Regardless of his political leanings Mellencamp does deserve credit for calling out the homeless crisis in Portland...and at least he does donate to a homeless veterans charity.
