My wife routinely gets blood tests showing her RH factor (the test showing rheumatoid arthritis) way off the charts.

She takes a high potency circumin and a very high dose fish oil, heavy on omega 3s and certain acids — and has zero symptoms for 5 years now. Her sister is crippled.

Her rheumatologist finally talked her into low dose hydrochloroquin just as another preventative, but so far, so good.

The economist is the official mouthpeace of MI5/MI6.

Basically the same as how the Washington Compost is the campus newspaper for the CIA.

Ummmm - what don’t you understand abut “being dusted with lead chromate”?

You gonna swear by Turmeric even if it’s sometimes laced with poison? I hear there’s some green Kool-Aid sitting on the shelves somewhere....Mmmmm - tastes like limes...

Turmeric has a low bioavailability. It needs to be cut with peperine, black pepper or a black pepper extract to increase it. s to be

“What, that dishonest dealers would adulterate food to make it more saleable?

Yes”

Yep, absolutely. Greed for that one extra penny knows no bounds.

I for a while kept two printed issues of Science Digest to remind myself not to listen too closely to “science” advice.

Ah: A fellow anti-intellectual. LOL.

Reminder:

Supplements are unregulated.

I doubt that Turmeric ‘spice’ is adulterated, but absent testing it is probable that there is some adulteration of Turmeric supplements. Personally, on occasion I’ll use Turmeric on eggs and have never taken the supplements.

“So its a quality of sources, not an inherent issue with turmeric.”

Appropriate conclusion.

Do you believe this to be true?

I believe Indian merchants would adulterate products to increase profits.

Some things help but too much of anything could be very bad. Watch your own heath and don’t tke advice from strangers.
