I haven’t seen any open borders people on here in years! I’ll grant you the drug legalization arguments from some here, but please prove your allegation of open borders libertarians in recent postings. I haven’t seen it.
Libertarian here... If you don’t have borders... You don’t have a Nation. Borders should be treated like the Property Rights that they are and the defense of our border should be the same as you would invasion of your own home or land.
Ie; up to and including deadly force. Like... lot’s of deadly force. Mini-gun emplacements mowing down illegals at the border like a bad sci-fi movie type force. It would take ONE example being made to curtail most of it.
As for our various social “safety net” programs... I am fundamentally AGAINST those even for US citizens. For illegals? Send them back across the border using a catapult if necessary.
