Georgia Governor Brian Kemp (R-GA), best known for his animosity toward Donald Trump, came out in defense of Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) as his speakership appears headed for the rocks.
“Instead of bickering amongst themselves and handing Democrats control of the House, Republicans should do their damn job and vote on the important issues facing our nation,” Kemp posted on X.

For some reason he seems to be partial to the illegals and “refugees”. Guess he like them turning entire towns into a different.
He loves giving money to liberal companies and Hollywood so more liberals and Democrats can move helping turn Georgia a solid Purple state with the liberal strongholds having enough people in them having enough to dominate elections
How did he go from being dead broke and in some serious date after 2018 election to making one investment and now, 6 years later, being a multimillionaire. $8mil apparently.
But I know there are plenty of Country Club Republicans liking him.
Is there something in the Water in Georgia? With statements like this made for public consumption, why isn’t the Legislature DEMANDING he immediately report for Drug Testing?

He did. They had a meeting. Maybe Pres Trump now has a mole. And there’s no such thing leaking classified info since Pres Trump can see the info.

State, county and city government bodies in Georgia are filled with Country Club Republicans.
Like so many other places, problem with kemp and those like are the voters and more importantly, the GOP/political machine that tilts the scales for their Country Club member.
And what if Kemp is the only possible winner over Ossoff in ‘26? Like Hogan in Md. we’ll need the seat. Kemp couldn’t’ be any worse than Perdue and that woman who bought the appointment.
Because most of the Republicans in the Georgia General Assembly are also dues-paying RINOs of the U.S. Chamber of Crypto-Fascist, Crony Commerce.
That just proves my point. The GOP and political machines picks our candidate for us.
He’s the main reason that Ossoff and Warnock are our Senators. He’s the one that allowed all the fraud.
He wouldn’t get my vote to pick up trash. He’s a fraud and corrupt to the core.
I no longer vote for the lesser of two evils or any “Republican is better than any Democrat”.
And his policies about giving our money away, in secret, just may have sealed our fate, anyway.

I may be ok with Jeffries. The Repukes are doing nothing. The fear and concern was they’ll just go into more Trump investigations. I think the RINO types will be more likely to support MAGA in terms of not voting FOR Jeffries bills. When it’s a Johnson bill they can always say they are just supporting the party. Make no mistakr, if we can get another speaker then fine but it isn’t good to be so afraid of Jeffries taking over that it doesn’t matter what Johnson does, there will never be consequences. Repukes will be more united as an opposition and Jeffries wouldn’t have the numbers to do much of anything.
Mike Collins or Doug Collins? I’d be okay with either but tilt toward Mike Collins.
But I’d also like a small business owner, a truck driver, carpenter, electricians, plumber, mechanic or the like.
Someone that opposes immigration, refugees, asylum seekers. Redoing the tax code.
No involvement in foreign anything. No giving away our money in foreign aid for radical liberal, ridiculous policies. There was an interview of some guy in Africa. He said the funds for LBGTQ??? policies, Russia and China help build infrastructure.
Think about this…Pres Trump raised the standard deduction for middle class folks to keep more money. They were allowed to declare their mortgage interest and property taxes on their taxes. The Uber rich could no longer declare the interest and taxes.
Biden is elected and, given that Dems are about the people add middle class, takes away those that use the standard deduction can no longer also declare interest and property taxes.
And I’ve yet to hear Republican, at any level, screaming about that
And, all the tax policies that Pres Trump got through, ones he wanted to make permanent, are expiring and everyone’s taxes are going up
Johnson could and do something about that. Especially during election year.
At least the Dems tell you who they are. With these Uni Party Rinos, they smile in your face and voice all the conservative buttons while twisting the knife in your back.
The Republican Party has a big problem, which is why I left it years ago. That issue will never resolve itself on its own. Inaction emboldens evil. Nothing will change and things will only grow worse until enough rank and file voters get off their asses and take action.

Waste of time. It starts with name recognition and an experience/leadership resume. Herschel was as bad as Oz. The GOP is guilty of supporting self-funders willing to buy the seat.
Speaking of leadership I’m warming to Tommy Tuberville as Trump’s VP pick. When he makes news my heart warms.
Why vote when they don’t care what we want and just steal from us and our families.

If true that speaker Johnson is calling for a Uke aid vote, then there’s no choice but to vacate the chair.
