Someone wants to sell a story to the National Enquirer and you instead pay them more not to sell the story to them and it is turned into a crime because you - supposedly - didn't keep "proper business records" of the payment.
No, Gayle, getting into such a situation isn't normal, but neither is such a thing a crime worthy of a multi-count criminal indictment. It isn't even worthy of a civil action.

As far as whether Trump will be allowed to attend his son’s high school graduation, I heard that the judge can allow it only if the prosecutor agrees...so Alvin Bragg can refuse permission. Very likely he will do so out of spite.
