An excellent read. I’m also reading the 300-page book “1776” by David McCullough.
I was working at a hospital in the neighborhood of Beacon Hill back in 2009. Maybe 2010.
My friends and I were having a great time at an Italian restaurant on Charles Street called Toscano.
We were laughing and carrying on. Suddenly my friend said, there he is, David McCullough! He was leaving after his dinner and walked right by our table. I said, Hi Mr. McCollough, we just wanted to say hi and congratulations. I said that maybe because of the John Adams miniseries (outstanding BTW) had debuted.
Anyway so he was very nice and gracious, and we were fairly well behaved.
When I introduced myself, Ms. McCollough said, Oh yes I've seen you around the neighborhood (eye roll).
LOL. Very nice people. RIP Mr. and Mrs. McCollough.
