In the end, Clark is in line for an eight-year deal that could end up being worth $28 million and a signature shoe, according to the Wall Street Journal.
SNIP
The sharp-shooting Clark’s previous deal with Nike was inked in 2022 and expired following this past season — and after the six-foot Clark cemented herself as not just the most well-known women’s college hoopster, but arguably the most popular college basketball player — male or female — last season.

The negotiations reached a fierce pace, according to the Wall Street Journal, at NBA All-Star weekend in mid-February, when Clark’s representatives from Excel Sports Management met with brands like Adidas, Under Armour and Puma — in addition to Nike — and told them they were looking for a $3 million per year deal as a starting point.

Amazing to me how people fall over themselves to emulate celebrities and not just clothing.
I’ve never had the slightest inclination to do that.
“Have no idea who the hell she is”
Conversely, she is the only basketball player I know, either male or female.
The 3 point line at the top of the key for the women is the same distance as the men as well as the WNBA. 22 feet, 1 3/4 inches.
No she doesn't.
There's only a 1 inch difference in circumference between the men's basketball and the women's. 29.5" vs. 28.5"
Regardless of the size, you still have to shoot it straight. And due to the vast difference in strength, it's still easier for the men to make long distance shots compared to the women.
So you agree the ball is smaller. It also is 10% lighter.
Is the goal the same size?
Yes
And for the record, the men's basketball diameter is 9.55" and women's is 9.23"....Very insignificant difference.
Any difference is significant according to Tom Brady.
If it’s an insignificant difference, why allow it?
Men and women are different, I have no problem with this as long as men are prevented from playing in women’s sports.
WNBA Ball weighs 9% less at 20 oz.
If you claim that difference is insignificant, why have it?
Brady doesn't make three point shots from the top of the key does he?
In fact, I'm not sure he can even dribble and pass a basketball.....
So, what is Brady's opinion of men vs. women when it comes to brain surgery?
Since you obviously aren't aware of it, men are vastly stronger in basketball than women. Of course you know that.
You've successfully hijacked this thread and now you're just trying to be a dick here and feed an argument that you have started without making any point of your own.
Nice try tho.....
Brady deflated footballs to make them easier to throw. That is analogous to shrinking a basketball by 1%.
You really don't pay attention to sports, do you? What do you do, just read headlines and move on like most morons do?
That claim was ultimately proven false.

But I digress, comparing a deflated football designed to give the quarterback a better grip on the ball has nothing to do with the size of a women's basketball....
So I ask again, what is your point in being a dick on this thread if not to hijack it for your own pleasure?
And what is the point you're trying to make?
Loneliness is a bitch, especially if you don't have a cat...........
So good night loser.........I'm done here.
