If they let Del Shannon in earlier, he might still be with us. "Head" isn't Rock and Roll? What do you make of "Tapioca Tundra"? It isn't non-rock pop in the normal sense.

Circle Sky from Head is definitely rock as is the earlier Stepping Stone. Tapioca Tundra is different, but fun.
