(Disco Demolition Night)
Yeah. That’s about the time I saw them.
But Elissa Bello was still on drums. Margot Olivarria on bass.
If you think the go-go’s were punk rock then you don’t know punk rock... Sorry.
Funny.
I was there.
The special new single release from 2020 “Club Zero” proves they all still had it after all these years, also their mini featurette the for the Rock and Roll hall of fame induction in 2021......Love the Go Go’s
suck ups gonna suck up...
Aha! So it was you?
So was I...
“Interesting...”
Then you know they were punk rock.
Disco is alive and well...at the discos...where they were meant to be played.
A few years after the movie was made I was driving near the Sherman Oaks Galleria ( Ridgemont Mall ). It was the only time I ever had a bird strike on my truck. I’ve driven up down most of the East Coast a few times and once from Upstate NY to Oakland Ca. Plus from Santa Barbra CA to Charleston SC and a few foreign countries. One would think that if you ever saw webbed feet at the top of your windshield, it would be in the thousands of miles of nothing I had to pass through to get where I needed to go and not in a highly populated area like that.
A few miles before there, I saw an “All American Burger.” I wanted to go back to it just to see this sign, but it got too late;

They drifted into pop-punk a bit, sort of like The Cars, but to a lesser extent. That's the closest I can get to agreeing with you.
Check out her cover of Bad Company’s “Feel Like Makin’ Love”.

Oh my.
nothing better than a live performance, you can’t get that from an album. I wish more “bands” would video record concerts or highlights from a tour, what a way to make extra money and provide significant value.
That’s great! Very much know the song, don’t remember the vid, and think I would have, with Nimoy in it.
