The reason Trump did not release the JFK files is because the files support the one shooter, one bullet, narrative.
Trump was fearful that millions of voters would be enraged at him personally if the confidential evidence did not support the conspiracy theories.
The confidential files mostly refer to Kennedy family and Democratic Party secrets, and to witness and informer statements that could not be verified.

I saw some video on X (Twitter) last night of James O’Keefe supposedly hitting on a much younger woman in a bar who was drunk. It looked pretty awful but this could be a setup. Has anybody else seen that clip?
I'm a big fan of James O'Keefe and his work but this video needs a little explanation by James, even if it was a set-up, as is alleged.
He’s a good man and has accomplished a lot. So far his methods have worked very well. It’s for him to choose how he does it.

If you look at Project Veritas’ board’s long list of grievances against Mr. O’Keefe from last year you get the impression that James is not a man for whom transgressions of the Ten Commandments are at all uncommon.
As with Trump, secular saviors tend not to be choirboys.
Yeah, I agree. But I don’t know if James considers himself to be ‘secular’ or not — don’t know enough about him. At one time several Christian organizations seemed to promote him as one of their own.
