It used to be PUNK, R&R to vote Democrat. I fell for it. I’m pretty certain I read and commented on this article about three days ago. We ended up comparing Joan Jett’s screams to Pat Benatar’s reknowned breath control and opera study.

Johnny Rotten is actually a really good guy. He has an impeccable BS detector and he isn’t afraid to use it.
This is kinda big. Cherie hasn’t done a whole lot musically since the early 80’s, but she and the Runaways were kind of ground-breaking, and I know for a fact that she still has fans and influence. (I know some of these fans personally).

He took care of his wife, who had Alzheimers, for years before she passed a few years ago.
Judging by recent pics, it’s taken a huge toll on him.
