Do the Police this week deserve praise?

In London they apprehended that maniac within 20 mins and in the U.S. they're busy dealing with protests across university campuses effectively it seems.

I think they've had a good week so far and I'm not one to praise them often. In fact, it's good to see a proportionate response I guess?

No. No praise here. They stood there while the Hamas wing occupied campuses like UCLA and then when someone finally decides to fight back, the police move in and arrest the ones fighting back. The police picked a side a while ago. It wasn’t ours.

In most of these places it’s not the judges who are the problem. It’s the legislators who pass stupid laws and prosecutors who refuse to enforce the law when it comes to real crimes.

That is a good question and my answer is that if they remain employees of a system that allows criminals to walk after that officer put their life on the line to arrest the person then the police officer should walk too.

Look at military recruitment. It is so bad that the Military Industrial Complex will probably call for the draft to be reinstated so they can continue to “defend democracy” around the world.

The patrolman on the street follows the orders given by his officers and they follow the slimy politicians orders. If it is to stand down they stand down and it’s infuriating to most officers who want to put a stop to this madness.

Then when turned loose on the scum of humanity the leftist DA’s turn the arrested scum loose. I can see where the police are frustrated and quitting in droves. The politicians hate them, the left hates them and even some so-called “conservatives” hate them and celebrate when something evil befalls an officer. When the cops finally all say we have had enough and stand down the thin veneer of civilization will be a gut punch to all.
