its says no one knows

the DAY

or the

HOUR

but it most certainly tells us about the season

and it tells us to WATCH

and when we see the season upon us by seeing the prophecies given fullfilled and the signs

we are to encourage each other with

the blessed hope of HIS return

and to rejoice

luke 21 :28

you may now return to a preterist slumber

Good point. I was joking lately about the conditions being so ripe for the tribulation that it wouldn’t be so much like a thief in the night as much as a thief in the night with a bullhorn hollering ‘Here I come.

Knowing the season covers that. The day and the hour? I wouldn’t start any long novels.

Thank you!

Jesus even gave the general indicators that the end was near. HE told us to watch and be ready. If we weren’t even supposed to know the seasons, then Jesus would have told His disciples that when they asked Him what the signs of the coming end of the age were. Instead, He answered their question and told them what to look for but cautioned them about being specific to the day and hour.

So we don’t do these things until the season is right? Of course not, we should do them ever day. Just a part of life with no need to know anything else.
