I have to agree to a huge extent ...it is the internets, computers, phones etc. It have taken away the critical thinking skills of the people, not just young people either.

It is good and right that man should be confounded in order to make him a thinking and reasoning creature, humble in nature to the laws of God.

As modern man turns further away from God and more into technology, the hubris of unattained knowledge will destroy mankind.

“Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise, we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth” (Genesis 11:4).

It’s the “Technology Trap” that James Burke talked about in “Connections”, we rely on technology, that we don’t understand, and when it’s not available, society will quickly fall apart. It’s only a matter of “when”.
