It is about the human conundrum. The best government is no government, but anarchy is worse. The constitutional framers knew that and tried to create a government that would be self governing. But we are lazy, and the envisioned constitutional balance cannot outlast the effects of entropy without the dreaded periodic refresh of the tree of liberty of which we are overdue by probably a century.

Sad, but true. I’m glad the FFs aren’t here to see the caliber of weak-ass, timid, bought-off freaks who have taken the places of the Adams men, Washington, Franklin, etc.
