For some reason, the 84-year-old Pelosi thought it would be a good idea to debate Winston Marshall, the former banjo player for Mumford & Sons, on the subject of elites who are disconnected from reality, and to do so at the historic Oxford Union.

Telling "poor souls" they are too dumb to understand what's best for them, so they need elites to choose what's "in their interest"? Way to prove his points!
(After all that, you won't be surprised to learn that the elites at the Oxford Union voted in favor of Pelosi.)

Hello? Pelosi knows nothing about a Democratic Republic. And she always and the Democrats in general do not use the word democracy as an informal shortcut but what they really mean is a democracy without a republic and they know it. They’ve been telling us this for years and they get corrected time and time again but they still use the term democracy because they know exactly what they want and that is for the masses of people to have control without any law regarding the election process set forth by the Constitution of the United States.
