I'm not in the "Do ANYTHING" column, just guard the border, enforce the laws and give social services the task to identify illegals. Give local LE authority to question, detain and deport and bill the Feds for the cost.

The Bush "plan" is the only serious contender out there; if it isn't implemented in some form, there's going to be nothing offered in its place.
