Yup. Only special weapon that was under the direct control of a non-commissioned officer, iirc. Great idea too (/s) ... max range was inside the blast radius. SOP was to dig a very large hole, fire the weapon and then hope you could dive in the hole fast enough not to get incinerated when the warhead detonated.
