Mercury used take talented artist, cut some wax, and put into a horrible cover. Where did they find a cymbal player like that? (Do your really play the cymbals or do you just play around with them?)

Bob Welch's album covers always bothered me when I was browsing Gold Circle as a kid. I didn't know what homosexuality was then but always thought Bob was a little 'funny' with the rouge and the eyeshadow.

I have a pretty vast musical vocabulary but to this day haven't heard a Welch tune or at least wouldn't recognize it due to his covers.
