I agree with you. People here who think Putin is a Communist obviously hasn't any tangible concept of a real Russian Communist. Putin is wildly popular in Russia.

So? How does that make him not a communist? Just because 78% of the Russian electorate favor Putin does not mean he's not a commie. In fact I'd say jus the opposite. 36% of that same electorate think Stalin did more good for the country than bad, about 48% favor Lenin, and 10 or 12% favor Gorbachev, Brezhnev, and Yeltsin. These are the same people that elected Putin. And another example that popularity doesn't prove you're anti-communist: the Democrats just won the majority in Congress, and they sure are commies.
