Robinson, it should be noted, famously blasted George W. Bushs presidential candidacy back in 2000, before a dramatic late-campaign about-face that saw him emerge as one of the GOP tickets biggest supporters. Bush at least stood up for the unborn and was pro-gun & pro-tax cuts.
Sadly, we all saw that Bush only gave lip service to conservatism. The opposition to Giuliani and other RINOs simply means we don't want to make that same mistake again.

Bush did the 3 great things for conservatism. The tax cuts, Alito, Roberts.
I have also not been banned and have supported Rudy. Besides Duncan Hunter, Rudy is my next choice.

In hindsight it seems JimRob was right on the W opposition and is right about Rudy.

If anything that demonstrates FR is open to true discussions. That 2000 GWBush fact negates the whole premise of the article but of course not its purpose.
Sorry Charlie author, Guiliani is NOT a centrist, not even close.

Absolutely correct. My memory is that W was never considered conservative, unfortunately the field was pretty thin. I favored Forbes in '00 but he was clearly too much of a poindexter to ever have a chance.
