Nearly three score comments and not a single comment that the author, Mark Hosenball, has worked for Newsweek for years. Huffington should take note on how easy it is to throw tainted bait on FR and then watch the suckers gulp it down.

I remember Sarah Palin “pimping for amnesty” with Jan Brewer while the “men” in the GOP were hiding under their desks.

Pissant, have you ever considered hiring a posting adviser? You sure could use one.

Its the fact he worked for McCain.

My, my, my--- how we forget who Randy Scheunemann is and how he was the only one of McCain's staff members who stood up for Sarah Palin during the 2008 election and got fired for it (and was then suddenly rehired after the crap hit the fan). He prepped her for the Biden debate and has been one of her closest advisors ever since. And it has been common knowledge that he's Palin's chief foreign policy advisor. In fact, she talks about Scheunemann in Going Rogue so this is yet another epic attempt to make hay out of a non-story.

That’s one of her problems. She NEEDS the advice. I’d be willing to bet Bolton does not have a foreign policy advisor. Or DeMint.

Of course she needs the advice, as would Huckabee, Pawlenty, and maybe Daniels. John Bolton might not need a foreign policy advisor, but he could probably use an economic policy advisor. Demint would probably need more advice on energy policy than Palin would. Reagan certainly turned to guys like Ed Meese for needed advice.

Each candidate has strengths and weaknesses in the knowledge department. There is nothing wrong with having access to advice that lies outside of your strong areas.

And if I were doing business with an organization that worked with foreign countries, I wouldn't mind seeing Taiwan on the organization's list of partners. Obama wouldn't even acknowledge that Taiwan IS a country.

Your point is well taken except that no one takes pissant seriously on FR since he started is vendetta against Palin.

You need to just let pissant Rant. If it wasn’t for FR, where Pissant can safely indulge his obsession, he’d be another Palin stalker.

That’s funny. Just about every GOPer, conservative and moderate alike, came out to support SB1070. And just so you know, it has nothing to do with Amnesty.

Oh come on pissant, you can do better than that. Your first link is to an article from March and your second link is from an undated article from a source that I’ve never heard of. I assume that most freepers have never heard of that second source either.

Vendetta Schmendetta. More like shining a dose of reality on the coronation crowd here.

The second link is with Univision. It made raging headlines.

here’s Michelle Malkin’s response to the Univision interview:

Open-borders McCain advisor Juan Hernandez approves……of Sarah Palin’s shamnesty straddle

http://michellemalkin.com/2008/10/23/open-borders-mccain-advisor-juan-hernandez-approves/

And FWIW, perhaps you can enlighten me of her change in policy since March when she told Greta and America that “I support his (McCain’s) position on immigration”.

Boy are you blind!

You've got it all setup, weakly I might add, that just about everyone who strongly supports Sarah Palin is either ignorant of her moderate leanings, or is part of some type of cult, while your disagreements with her are all about your wrong perception or purposely twisted perception of her position on Illegal Immigration.

You purposefully ignore all of her postings and statements where she comes out strongly against Illegal Immigration, while taking what statements she has made that you think supports your contention that she is another John McCain on this issue out of context.

Real weak Pissant and you're really self-deluded on this issue!

Maybe that was a moment where he said he was for securing the borders. He flip flops so often.

He said that in his campaign for the 2008 nomination. At the exact same time McCain/Palin was running spanish language ads blaming Obama for helping to kill his amnesty bill. Imagine that
