I’m starting to listen to the 1 hr 33 min long version of this video compilation for more hints on when it was done and who was there who would have known about these claims.
There are at least two separate events cobbled together to make the 7 minute version.
At the very beginning of the long video Shrimpton says that Medvedev is “about to win” election, which occurred on March 2, 2008, so this portion of the video would have been late February 2008.

The reason is under the Constitution, once a President is sworn in (without regard to how he got to that point)the only way to remove a “sworn-in President” is through impeachment or resignation of course. Neither are likely to occur.

I hear people invoking the Supreme Court and the Justice Department over this but I don’t know of any legal authority they have to challenge the sitting POTUS’s legality to serve.
As you say, even if the “smoking gun” were found there’s little to nothing that would come of it. Not that I like that but it’s just the reality of it. Is CNN or MSNBC or any other major media outlet going to go full 24/7 hair on fire if it were to happen? No. I really can’t put much stock in the birther thing because regardless of what they might be able to provide it won’t result in anything. Hate it, but....
