Nothing old about it, buddy...

I have always enjoyed the walnut stock/steel combination better than plastic. The very first rifle I ever learned to shoot was my Gunnery Sergeant uncle’s M1 Garand. I was 11. Loved it so much that a Garand was the very first rifle I bought when I came of age to own. Still have it too.

I own a lot of vintage wood stocked guns, as well as modern stuff.

And I still enjoy lever guns as well; THE quintessential American firearm.

I collect old military rifles.The old weapons will outshoot the modern stuff.Case in point,my Swedish M96 sniper.Receiver crest is dated 1900,it will shoot right along side of my Remington 700 HB.
